San Marcos Community Center 3 Civic Center Drive , San Marcos, CAThe North County Food Policy Council is hosting its inaugural Thanks(for)Giving in August fundraising dinner to support the Turkey Tally Program, which provides nutritious, protein-rich turkeys to local families in need during the holiday season, including Vista Teen Outreach. The evening will include dinner and cocktails (no host) along with the opportunity for guests to bid on fabulous auction items during the Silent Auction. Holiday Basket Sorting and Packing (Volunteer Opportunity)
Vista Teen Outreach is providing Holiday Baskets to 200 students and their families, so they will have everything they need to cook and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. If you're interested in helping sort and pack food items, or would like to donate, please contact us.
